"USPS settings"

I am trying to configure the USPS shipping fields.

for USPS ID, is this the USPS.com login ID or is it the Web Tools ID?

If it's the Web Tools ID, then where do you obtain the Web Tools ID password?

When I signed up for Web Tools, there is no place to add a user password and the email from usps.com only includes the Web Tools User ID, not a password.

In any case, no matter what I enter in the fields of the Shipping Handling Manager, I do not get the USPS calculator enabled in my cart.

Well somehow it did show a calculator but even though I have entered the weight of items in decimals of a pound (.0625 = ounce), the shipping weight is not being calculated.

Where is the documentation for the shipping module? Is instructions.pdf all there is for documentation?

There is a bad bug in the shipping module for international rates. I paid extra for this shipping module only to find it doesn't calculate correctly. I have shown this to the support team and requested my money back. I never heard back from them.

I received a "fix" but it was totally wrong and tried to add a pound to many orders. In addition, the fix assumed that the code was a certain way, but I proved the assumption wrong.

So, I spent about $70 for a non-functioning script - at least for international rates. (Which I need).

I am sorry that you are getting the same treatment that I am. No responses to our needs.
