"server error 500, can't add anything to the database"

I'm trying to add items to my database, so far I've started over 3x, I have 7 categories with anywhere from 3-10 items in each category (they are clothing items). I can add categories just fine but every time I try to add items to the categories it doesn't keep all of them. So I go back in and try to add the missing ones again. Now I'm getting Server 500 error. I've disabled imagmagic and removed the code from my ppaddit.cgi file, and changed the CHMODE to 755. Please help! It looks like others are having this problem. I just purchased this software after some very careful consideration and questions and really need to get things up and running within a matter of days. Thanks in advance for your help. I'm also going to email tech support with my ftp info... |

EDITED TO ADD: I think I resolved this. When I uploaded the edited ppaddit.cgi file, I was not in ASCII mode. I re-uploaded it using ascii and now the database seems to be working....I'm so sorry for posting without checking that first!! |
