A: Item numbers are internal and can not be edited. Proper item numbers are important to maintain the database. If you have your own item numbers you can place them within the item name field, such as: Item name (item number). Alternatively, you can use optional fields, such as: "Item's Short Description" field to insert the item number. We recommend to use item name field.
